Welcome to the web site for Gary Head and Partners painting.
I started this company as Gary Head Painting in 1981 after working for over six years as a painter in New Zealand, Canada, the USA and Great Britain. Juan Martinez started working with me in 1987, Daniel Madrid began working with me soon after, and Manuel Garcia some few years after that. Together we decided to become partners and incorporate as Gary Head and Partners Painting, in 2001.
We specialize in painting and waterproofing stucco homes in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area and have completed over 300 such projects in the last 20 years. We are one of the few companies that qualify for paint manufacturers labor and material warranties on our work.
One area that I have fun with is the color schemes we create while painting in the Marina District of San Francisco. Here I look for the color ideas from the original architect, often found in the tile colors used in the entry hallways and I apply versions of these colors to the facade, to accent the unusual art deco features of some of these buildings. This website contains several examples of these ideas.
